After almost five years away from carbon due to various reasons...mostly cost, I'm back on a carbon frame. I spent several months, maybe a year, keeping tabs on this brand Swift Carbon, reading and watching all that I could as it came available. It's not a Cervelo, BMC, Colnago, etc, but the owner, design, and having NOT to pay for the huge marketing and pro sponsorship meant I could probably get one a little cheaper than the others.
As soon as a U.S distributor came available I made the needed bike adjustments in the garage and had one ordered. Pretty impressed with the design and finish. Getting it built with new Red22, current wheels, and some old left over parts would mean its not totally "weenied" out, but the plan is to get there as the funds allow.

i noticed swift-bikes some days ago and must say: beautiful bikes! especially the ultravox looks really nice.
your build is great, good-looking, and the weight speaks for itself!

btw: are those swift-frames available in europe? couldnt find any information in the web.

That looks great! Nice work. I read about these in Cycling Sport and found it interesting. Cool to see something different. How do those RevL brakes perform? Once the ride is dialed, cut the excess steerer length for a bit more weight drop too

Thank you. The username goes along with the custom Sycips I have. Tho I would have preferred a custom carbon bike, the likes of Parlee, Crumpton, Alchemy, all of which are $5000+ simply put them out of my range.

For the other inquires: the Revl brakes were hard to set initially and are a little finicky due to being single pivot, they have been stellar in then modulation and stopping dept. With new ones being worked on by The Hive I hope they address the difference in pull ratio between the two arms.
The ride has been a step up in stiffness, comfort, and reaction. Its much stiffer than my steel Sycip and each pedal stroke is met with instant reaction and the biggest difference is the stiffness while powering over rollers in the big ring. Where the BMC Racemaster seems to hesitate a little when descending (needing more bar & hip input) to change lines and accelerate out of corners, the Swift is quick without being unpredictable. The super thin seatstays give lots of comfort to the bike without having to pressure down like I would on the BMC.
