Cheers gents! The wheels are Yeoleo 23mm x 50mm clinchers I got for a song so not much out of pocket on this upgrade. Looking forward to wearing these out this weekend if the weather holds up. :beerchug:

Thinking of de-labeling the stem/bars.....what do y'all think?

Love it! so racey, looks like its diving thru a crit corner standing still!

As far as the stem/bars go could you give a close up shot? The decals seem to match the rest of the bike well but black always looks good too

I will get a close up tonight.....was also thinking Thomson bar/stem/post as an upgrade. Not sure how the Thomson sb post would look though.

I would choose something with a carbon seatpost, when you ride a alu frame, just for a bit of comfort. But if you like a full rigid ride, go for Thomson!

+1 to this. I noticed a nicer ride going from the stock C1 post to a carbon post (3T dorico ltd) on my evo, so I'd imagine that improvement in compliance/ride quality would be even greater on the caad.

I would go ENVE all around, but that wouldn't be a "budget" upgrade!

I use the 3T Dorico LTD, that you can scoop on eBay from time to time for a decent price.

Thanks, Maj! Functionally, I love the cages, but I agree there are better looking options out there.

CaptainP: The LTD is a good option because I think the grey detailing would tie into the frame/group perfectly. Going to look into it. :beerchug:

Is that a frame pump? Cool.

I haven't popped over to read this thread in a while, really like this bike too. The Fuji was great looking, so is this. Nice job!

Hope the other new addition to the family is doing well - boy or girl?
