I find the weight to be respectable! Great job!
I am planning to rebuild my CAAD10 Berserker Green over the winter. I keep trying to sell the bike and then balking at the last moment ... I think that means I should just keep it.

I run 23mm on the front and 25mm on the rear. They look big on the Kinlin XC279 wide rims......I have run 27mm Challenge Parigi-Roubaix on this bike with different brakes. The Force brakes limit the tire size to 25mm on wide rims.

The frame affords plenty of room; however the SRAM brakes do not. I ran Planet X CNC brakes and it looked like there was plenty of room for 25s and fenders. I personally run SKS race blades.....they do not go through the brake bridge so no clearance issue.

This looks very smart!
Can I ask about the SRAM 22 shifters.... how does the shape compare to the previous force shifters? None of my local have any in to look at. I like the shape of the 105 5700 with the flat section on top and under the hoods but can't live with the weight of Shimano! Considering the new Force. Thanks!

The Force levers are super nice! The shape is much more ergonomic than anything I have ridden from Shimano (that said the DA9k levers are very nice). Much prefer these to 105 5700....even if they weighed the same, which they don't!

I never quite got on with the wide levers like 5700...

Strangely I have small hands and like the 5700's on my cross bike. I didn't think I would before they were installed. I have the previous version of SRAM on every other bike and after using the 5700's, I'm not sure I like the curvy SRAM hoods anymore!

I enjoyed them very much...they are super smooth riding (I rode them at around 90psi) and they are faster than you would think. Reasonably long lasting also, and I never had a flat with the exception of a pinched tube due to a rushed mount (latex pinched in the bead). I rode them in varying conditions including gravel, rain, sun, chip-n-seal, etc. and I would recommend them for sure.
