Cyfac Proxidium - 6.85kg RED and all ALLOY
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
I wanted a change so I went ALLOY
Red goes faster they say and once I had the frame and decided to keep everything as alloy as possible, Tune, Alchemy and EE-Cycleworks added to the theme
There's no sugar coating it though, with stiff wheels you definitely notice the bumps in the road....
Build list:
Frame: Cyfac Proxidium (alloy / medium)
Fork: Cyfac carbon
Cranks: Tune Smartfoot - 53/39
Levers: Dura Ace 9000
Front and Rear mechs: Dura Ace 9000
Brakes: EE-Cycleworks
Bar: Ritchey WCS alloy
Stem: Ritchey 260 alloy
Post: Ritchey WCS 1-bolt alloy
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR (alloy rails)
Hubs: Alchemy ELF/ORC
Rims: Planet X 20mm carbon
Tyres: Panaracer Type A Tubular
Pedals: Speedplay Zero stainless
Bartape: Arundel Gecko
Cages: Arundel Dave-O
Total: 6.85kg and ready to race

Oh that is so, so sexy. Bonus points for matching the crank to the frame & fork.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Thank you. Seriously, thank you.

Bravo! The red scheme is excellent. Beautiful frameset.
That bike looks ready for battle. Very respectable weight for alu too.
25 mm tubbie on the back might solve some of the harshness.
That fork is very intriguing. Can you post better photos of it including the apparent channel?
