Is there a reason for that? Wouldn't the headtube be pretty soft instead like it is now?
Pegoretti is probably the coolest bikebrand, no other even close

Pegoretti is probably the coolest bikebrand, no other even close

I doubt anything is going to get soft on this bike. I think the idea is to have a smaller stiffer front triangle. The headtube is a D11 headtube that Dario designed. This think is oversized and takes a CK D11 headset designed for him as well.

+1, a Pegoretti w/ the Ciavete paint is definitely my go to "just won the lottery" bike. All of his paint jobs are beautifully unique and eccentric, but having the ciavete makes it that much more special.
Can't wait to see the full build.

How about some frame protectors so that the cables don't rub off the lovely paint job on the headtube? And of course a second bottle cage
