KVA Stainless Steel Project UPDATED PICS
Moderator: Moderator Team
New to me. SS A-Train frame and fork. Found this frame and fork online with DA Di2 wiring and seatpost battery already installed. Less than 100 miles by owner.
I will weigh the frame and headset along with Di2 wiring before I start assembling.
Frame is constructed out of KVA stainless tubing and lugs.
Component specs:
Di2 Shifter/Brake levers
Enve Stem
Enve Seatpost (27.2)
Shimano 9000 BB
King headset
Thomson Bars (44)
Enve 45 (alchemy hubs) and Enve 25 Wheelsets
Veloflex clinchers (45's) and Veloflex Tubs (25's)
SLR carbon rail saddle
Shimano 7900 11-27 cassette
Shimano 9000 semi compact crank
Lizard skin bar tape
Shimano DA 7900 pedals
EEcyle Works Black brakes with enve pads

Love the frame, but the Enve stem and fork are a bit much with the sleek tubes.

I'm just waiting for the post to come in and I'll post a couple of updated pics. I installed bars, shifters, brakes on the weekend. I do have the option of using a Syntace black stem but I'm using the fork. I may remove the EDGE logo as a winter project.
Got a few more items installed. Just waiting for Enve seatpost and a set of DA 9000 53/39 rings. I might end up putting on the Syntace stem. I also may try a King stainless cage.
So far it weighs in at 5.7 kg. So it might come in around at 7.2 kg complete with pedals. With the Enve 25's it will weigh around 6.5 ish if my math is correct. I will loose a bit more if I use the Syntace stem and cut the steer tube down a bit.

Aside from the silly polished headset spacer, this build turned out much nicer than I thought. Very nice!

Carbon spacers for sure but I like the look with the Enve fork and stem.
