So check out the new pictures of my Pronghorn! I think they're cool.

The Focus-build has suffered an unfortunate setback. I was completely finished, execpt from cables only to find that the the white plastic cable carrier in my Sram Rival lever is broken.

Do anyone know if this piece is replaceable? I have an old Sram Rival lever somewhere, where it's the paddle that is broken and thought i might be able to use the cable carrier from this, on my current lever.

Well, I finally finished my Focus two weeks ago and today had the time to snap a couple of pictures.

It's my winterbike, which is going to take me trough the thoughs of the danish winter. Last year it was set up with Shimano Ultegra/105, but i decided that it was time to upgrade it to get better winter-sensations.

Here's the spec list:

Fork Focus Mares Full Carbon
Seat post No name carbon seatpost
Crank Sram Force (see earlier posts for more)

Front derailliur Sram Force
Rear derailliur Sram Red
Shifters Sram Rival
Casette Shimano 105 11-25
Chain Shimano 105
Brakes Avid Shorty 4 with Swiss Stop Viking brake pads
Wheels Vision Team30
- Tires Schwalbe Durano Plus
Bar FSA Vero Compact, 400 mm.
Stem FSA OS 150, 110 mm.
Bar tape FSA SuperGel
Saddle Specialized Romin (Recovered with real leather by my girlfriend)
Pedals Look Keo 2 Max
Bottlecages Elite
Computer Garmin Edge 500
Mudguards SKS RaceBlade

Weight 8,4 kg., with Garmin

And the mandatory picture:

Thanks!

And yea, they're nice. The clip system on them is shit tough - at least if you suffer a puncture.

Sup',

So for the 2014 racing season i'll need a new race bike.

I can either opt for a great deal through my new team/club on a Trek Madone 5.2 2014 with Ultegra 11 speed, or
I can choose another great deal on 2013 Cervelo R3 which would be build with Sram Force 11 speed.

They would both be aproxx. same price. Both bikes would be raced with a set of Zipp 404 firecrests.

Well i ended up choosing the Cervelo R3 and hit the buy-button today.

Hopefully it'll be home soon so i can strip it for parts and build it with Sram Force 22 and Zipp 404's.

As soon as there's some pictures to post i'll post 'em

So here's my rig for 2014. I have ridden it for about 2 months now and finally had the chance to snap a picture.

I found the frame as a complete build and sold all the components (Shimano 105 and R500-wheels).

Then i gave it the components it deserves.

Here's the spec list:

Frame Cervelo R3 2013 size 51 cm
Fork Cervelo
Seat post 3T Dorico LTD
Crank Sram Force 22
- Chainrings Sram X-Glide 53/39
Front derailliur Sram Force Yaw
Rear derailliur Sram Force 22
Shifters Sram Force 22
Casette Sram Force 11-25
Chain Sram Force 11-speed
Brakes Sram Force w/ SwissStop BlackPrince
Wheels Zipp 404 Firecrest
- Tires Continental Gatorskin 25/22 mm.
Bar 3T Rotundo 400 mm
Stem 3T Arx Pro 130 mm -17
Bar tape Fi'zi:k
Saddle Fi'zi:k Antares w/ carbon shell and rails
Pedals Speedplay Chr-Mo
Bottlecages Specialized
Computer Garmin Edge 500

Weight 6,8 kg with Garmin and timing device

Image

My training wheels is Mavic Aksium frontwheel and a PowerTap build around a OpenPro-rim.

Please share your thoughts on my build!

Thanks

I'm also in loooove with this paint scheme over the numerous black-on-black bikes.

The ride is very good aswell and the Sram group compliment the frame so well. I would really recommend the Cervelo R3 for anyone looking for a light and stiff ride, that is yet comfortable.

Very nice bike!
Any chance you weighted the group? I found different weights and I'm confused.

@Nicos

Unfortunately not. Though i'm quite sure it's sub 2 kg, everything included.
