I'm considering fitting Di2 to my P3. I don't like the downtube battery mount so wondered if I could hang the battery between the tri-bars, swapping the A- and B-junctions over (I could position the junction A on the chainstay) to save on those expensive wires.

With a proper tube clamp and not the 'Heath Robinson' arrangement here, I reckon it'll work. My question is, why have I never seen anyone else do this? What am I missing? To me, there is little aero drag induced by this as the flow will already be turbulent by the time its gone over my hands and G500!
