Well, it gained 22 grams after all. Huh.

Admittedly, it gained 2cm of seattube, though all the tubing but the chainstays were switched to SL from standard, so it would have been even heavier if it would have been standard tubing:

The fork(s) dropped in weight from 324 (original) to 314 (new fork 1) and 310 (new fork 2) uncut, so the net change is +8 grams. ;-)

Why do I have two forks? This way, I can cut the first to one length, and as I get old, crotchety, stiff, and upright, I still have a fork.

Kandy red looks soo good. Excited to see outdoor pictures. The stems came out light with all the paint.

One does need to work to pay for these ungodly expensive frames.

With two custom forks and stems, you'r excused! :beerchug:

Please keep the gumwalls, they compliment the kandy red color so good!

@all - It is complete. Quick photo from a local park. More to come. I need to get out and ride it.

That certainly is striking. Hard to pull of such a strong color, but seems to be totally worth the wait for Parlee to get it right.
