Hi everyone...

I have as so many others been around for a while lurking however now it is time to post my ride. A month ago i bought a S5 rival and converted it to something a little more lightweight.

The bike was original +8 kg

I have changed the following parts:
1) Wheels from fulcrum 7(?) to Zipp 404 firecrest tubular
2) Pedals to Exustar titan
3) Rival parts changed to Red parts (except FD)
4) Brakes from rival to Planet x lightweight cnc
5) Saddle changed to SLR without padding
Bike was at this point 6900 grams with 404s. Was 6850 grams with 202 tubulars.

Last modification was done yesterday where i fitted my new B.O.R. Power2max and the bike is now at 6970 without the garmin mount. I need to cut the fork a little more to get rid of the spacers.

The fit is much more suitable than on my previous ride (Canyon CF) and i feel really good on the bike.

Let me know your comments folks.

Fantastic! Love the component selection. Only thing that could sweeten this is a video of you killing it on the flats.

Thanks!

Currently i have a hip injury so i am not really killing it :) - hoping to do some races in late summer and i will then (hopefully) kill everybody on the flats :) - but it is a great bike.

If you have suggestions to go to around 6800 g without being ripped off i would be very interested. My own thoughts on this is to change the following parts:

Stem 3T ARX pro
Handlebar 3T ergonova pro

and maybe:

Bottlecages which are profile design carbon lite
Quick releases (think they are called ATIK)

But suggestions are more than welcome :)

Did you weight the P2M/Bor before fitting it? (w/o rings)

Unfortunately not - so i only have the weights from the P2M website. However i did a calculation on estimated weights before i got the power meter.

There was a gossamer crankset on the bike when i got it so i took the gossamer weight without power meter from the P2M website and substracted from the BOR P2M crankset and added this as weight gain in my calculation. I ended up being within 15 grams of estimated weight so i think the weights on the P2M website seems accurate. Hope you can use this info :)

Any chance of those more detailed pictures of the crank area?

What size frame is this?
It looks better than the larger versions, I think.

Yeah, I think the shorter headtube looks a lot better. Wish the top tube didn't slope so much though. What's the BB-top of the saddle and the drop?

The BB to top of saddle is approx 63.5. I am not sure about the drop. I can try and measure it. Right now i am having the bike repaired as i broke a BB pres fit cup tonight. Glad it didnt happen doing 900 watts :)
