My recent build of my Foil team edition.

Image

Spec:
Scott Foil Team Edition frameset (small)
Ultegra Di2
Di2 climbers switch
Dura Ace C50 clinchers
Vittoria latex inner tubes
Vittoria Open Corsa SC clinchers
Dura Ace 7900 pedals
Fizik Kurve Bull saddle
Deda zero100 bars
Deda zero100 90mm stem
K Edge out front Garmin mount
Elite Custom Race bottle cages

Weight 7.4kgs (need to go DA 9070!)

It rides very nicely. Holds speed easily once you get up there and descends nice and quick, I tend to pass heavier riders in my club on downhills which I never used to on my previous non-aero frame. It is stiff, my hands feel it after a few hours but the isn't as much discomfort through the saddle but the Kurve may play a part in this. Considering a longer stem but still getting used to the slightly lower position than my previous ride so will see.

Finally big thanks to WW member pawnii for his help and advice during the build!

nice bike, I would recommend to unlabel those wheels and to buy other bottlecages...

Yeah bottle cages will be changed, they were the only ones I had in the house in the build. Wheels, I like the logos personally.

GREAT looking Foil. Congrats on your new ride.

I like your choice of deep (or should I say standard?) drop bars. Right wrong or indifferent, there's so many shallow bars these days.

Size small bikes often look a bit awkward, but there's none of that going on with yours.

What did you ride previously?

Thanks Johnny, had (still have the frame in the bike shed) a Canyon Ultimate AL which will become my winter ride.

Verry verry nice bike you have there. Was wondering where the battery is , and what kind of junctionbox you have to give some energy to the battery ... Do you have some photo's of that items also.

Battery is the new internal version, it hides in the seatpost. The charging is from the junction A (also a new version to enable internal battery).

are you going to do the DA Di2 upgrade? you can keep the internal battery as its the same.

Nice foil! Just a little stiff for me.
