Having now figured out how to insert pictures, thought I would share my recent rebuild of my Evo. I had it resprayed by OOEY Custom -These guys paint the Wyndymilla bikes in the UK (used in the Tour Series) and have done a stunning job - the decals, broadly, follow the Evo Black Edition.

Image

Build list:

Cannondale Evo F&F - 56cm
Farsports 38mm carbon clincher
Zipp SL SS bars
Zipp SC SL Beyond Black stem
GP4000s tyres and racelight innertubes
Sram Red Black rear derailleur
Sram Red Yaw front dérailleur
Sram Exogram cranks with Extralite Octaramp 50/34 chainrings
Planet X CNC brakeset with Black Prince pads
Arione CX braided saddle (just about to swap to Arione R1)
Dura ace cassette
KMC X10SL chain
Alligator I-Links (minis for gear shift)
Lizard Skins bar tape
Omni carbon post; custom sprayed to match frame
Look Keo Carbon Blade Pedals with (titanium spindle conversion)
Cannondale 2013 si lightweight headset
Planet X carbon/ti spindles
Racewaredirect Gamin Mount

Have been out for a few rides and i almost feel as though i am cheating! It flys up hills (despite the fact i am 78kg!) and descends amazingly - the Farsports wheels spin up really easily and roll so smoothly.

Oh and apologies for the MASSIVE valve stem on front - had a blow out going 60kph down a hill and it was the only spare tube in my pocket!!!

chain length a bit of a problem so left on shorter side. Thought photo protocol was both big rings ......

53 x 11 for pics

Curious to hear your thoughts later on the R1 vs. CX carbon. Fabulous looking ride...

It is a very sweet stealth ride, but I don't know how you got to that weight in this size. Is the Red really a pound or more lighter than Dura-Ace 7090?

Can't comment on the dura ace weights; sub 13lb was without the Garmin mount and cadence sensor (and poss one bottle cage, can't remember now).

Always possible that my scales are wrong - will have to get it double checked!!

The big winner was defo the exogram cranks and extralite chainrings which are 465 grams (wo BB).

Re size 56 comment, Frame is 810g and forks 320g. Not sure how that fits with expectations?

I was thinking about trying to shed some more weight buy it starts to get really expensive from here on in..... New sram red cassette and extralite stem are next on the shopping list (should save about 100g).

Kgt - why do you ask about the bars?

I don't doubt the scales are accurate, and asked only because my Parlee Z5 SLi frame and fork weight is about the same, many of my build components are similar/same, major difference being the crankset and chainrings (I've got Hollowgram and Praxis 52/36)...and I'm most recently at 14.07 pounds, although that includes an extra 60 grams from using a comfortable saddle.

One point, not sure which praxis you have but I originally bought the praxis 52/36 and they were heavier than the original sram ones. In my case the extralites were over 70g lighter.

Having looked at your bike again (which is stunning!), I think you have di2 too - suspect this accounts for a decent part of the difference if my memory serves me right.
