Hi everyone,

i've managed to get this mint condition EM Corsa Extra frame in Team Telekom colours from a collector.

some parts are already from what i have (shamal, 10s chorus, record headset). just waiting for the other parts to arrive within the next week or so.

here is the frame. Paintwork is great. has a pearlised tone to it which can be seen from the close up pictures. Pictures will be added once the other parts are in.

Hope you all like it.

absolutely amazing. I wonder why people buy these things and let them sit around in mint condition all these years! looking forward to the final product.

I have no idea!! I knew I had to get it the moment I laid my eyes on it.

Steel projects are so fun to carry out. Difficult but absolutely rewarding!

I'll upload some other pics soon (wheels and grpset).

Thanks for the kind words everyone :beerchug:

just changed out the veloflex rubber as i don't think the gum sidewalls will suit the colour scheme. but i'll see how it goes from here. Think my shamal and the frame are a match made in heaven. Coupled with my silver record 10s grpset (i am in the midst of cleaning/polishing them up now) - it should look good altogether.

Conti's really screw up the looks of your bike. Please go with tan sidewall tires, they look better on EVERY bike and even more so on a vintage ride.

Lovely frame, you don't come across too many of them in such great condition.

Yeah....I have been looking at the wheels for 18 hours....still think gum sidewall rubber looks way better. Will change it in a few days time when I find a little time to do so!
