Hi everyone,
A lot of thinking and searching lead to my latest purchase of a AX-Lightness Vial Evo. My plan is to race it so I won't be skimping on durability but otherwise this will be fun!

Image

Weight so far for my Medium? (On my cheap scales) 802g including BB and headset bearings installed. I'm not keen to remove them to check but Nils from AX informs me:
BB bearings, pair: 46.1 gms
lower headset bearing: 16.9 gms
upper headset bearing: 21.6 gms
liner (inside of the frame) ca. 12.4g

So roughly 717g with derailleur hanger and front mech mount (molded on). My previous frames have been closer to 800g plus so this is an incredible weight. Build quality inside and out looks amazing

Waiting on handlebar and cranks to arrive then custom chainrings from FETHA.

Pretty excited about this....

Nice frame and stem. I'm looking forward to see this bike finished.

What clubs do you race at? I'll have my eyes peeled for this build for sure.

Jamie from Fetha Custom Components designs rings to suit. I'm keen to get back on a q-style ring but with a few custom touches... The pricing is very reasonable compared to Rotor and Osymmetric plus you choose design, teeth and anodized colour
