This forum is the place to be for Colnago aficionados. After wanting a Colnago for so long, I finally gave in to my bike lust, and ordered a C59 in TSMR from Mike@Maestro UK in November 2012. It is finally home.

Weights: (my scale is only good to +-5 g)
Frame, 1150g, including upper and lower headset bearings installed, and some vinyl protection on the top tube, down tube, seat tube, chain stays (I forgot to weigh the frame before I put on the vinyl).
Fork uncut, 395g, including bearing race, and brake bolt
Seatpost, 220g
Seatpost collar, 25g

I will post more pictures and weights as I build the bike up. I plan to build this up with Campagnolog Super Record, and Enve 65 wheels. Enjoy these pics for now.

Beautiful! I don't think I've seen one of these color schemes except in colnago pics. I'm very curious to see the build. Keep everyone updated!

Lovely colour! What size frame did you get? Did you also get the matching blue seat post?

I'm 5'7" with a 74cm inseam. Mike recommended that I ride a 45s because I like a fairly low position. I did get the matching seatpost.

I managed to install the SR cups and crank, before bed time. Time to rest for tomorrow's 50 mile ride.

Weights:
Super record BSA cups, 50g, with wave washer and retaining clip.
Super record Ti 50/34 crankset, 585g, with chainrings and Ti bolt.

After today's ride and spending time with the family, I had a bit of time to install the headset, stem, seatpost, and saddle.

Weights:
Colnago integrated headset Y, 55g, with top compression ring, top clamp, and top cap, without bearings.
Deda Zero100 Servizio Corse stem, 110g, 100mm.
Colnago seatpost, 220g, uncut.
Colnago seatpost collar, 25g.
Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow, 120g.

Then why post it on a "weight weenies" site :D

I had the top end colnago frame in the shop the day as the local rep is trying to get us onboard to stock them, It was a disappointing dated technology frameset for what they cost, we wont be stocking them.

I understand Colnago frames are the the lightest. If I wanted a light frame, I would have purchased a Wilier zero.7 or a BH ultralight. Even thought the name of this forum is Weight Weenies, This forum has a lot of Colnago fans and fans of bicycles in general. I have learned a lot from reading the posts on this forum. By posting my Colnago build process, I was hoping to share my enthusiasm for this beautiful frame as well as provide more content and add to the knowledge base of this great forum.
