Bare carbon finish is getting along...but got to say....it's as HELL of a job...deep respect for others venturing to do this.

It's funny how a frame change transforms the look of a build. As nice as the Flash is, the Spark just looked awesome
I know you have an affiliation to the bolt company, but seeing the shock pivot bolts has got me curious about changing the stock ones on my Scalpel.... hmmmm.... time to start browsing
Is the plan to leave the Spark nude or repaint?

Plan is the leave bare carbon and add custom stickers with some small color areas to brake the all (boring) black. Work is getting to the end.... It's loooong one.

Couldn't resist but putting frame back together. Total saving with paint off is 81g. Have to say I'm disappointed with the poor quality in some bonding areas on this frame and I am still deciding if I will keep it naked or with a black coating. At least my seatpost is matching with these imperfections
Still need some final touch on certain areas but it will be easy to do it. Now is the time to start appreciating the 'new' frame.

That worked well! Internal cable routing on Frame but not on rear triangle...and away from tire.

[quote="DanW"]Nude frame looks really good but the paint looks even more interesting. Good stuff![/quote
Just on two very small areas to brake the all black.

Sweet!!!! Parts appearing in the mail, happy birthday to me!
Decided to give it a go with Fox CTD
Rotor 4130 BB the be paired with swork crank...
Two major weight saving here. I'm shooting for 70g save on crank setup (from gpx BB and XO to rotor 3140 and s-work) + 77g from (f/ scott nude with remote shock to Fox CTD). total 147g. If I go spiderless in the future it will save around 95g additionally.

Really liking the idea of keeping the mostly nude frame with minimal paint.... the suspense!
This shock is 6.5". Paint is getting along but still need a couple of days for curing 'each' color...so...3 layers (days) for each color, 3 colors total...8 to 9 more days...patience!!!
