The other way 'round is more depressing, trust me, it just floats away and you don't even get to enjoy ;)

edit- oh and I totaly lust for an Oltre. Any rationale behind their claims of the nano-tech making the thing more crash resistant?

Beautiful frame. Excited to see it finalized.

No f***ing lead cable, so quite a bit of precise navigation and some colorful swearing  :x :x

So, sanding is pretty much done. Some polishing with 1200 needed before applying clearcoat. I wonder what to do with the spider... :noidea: I want to remove the silvery parts and leave only the Quarq logo on the batterycap and the ant+ logo. Suggestions very welcome!

Acetone didn't work, so until I find the patience to paint or whatever, this will have to do:

And the bike is done. Took me all of yesterday to sand, build and adjust it, but now it's done. Final weight is 6550g (+-10gms, don't have a hanging scale), and the ride is extremely responsive. I've only done a few there-and-back-again to try it out, but it feels so much more nimble and agile than my Cervelo. Will give it a hard vo2max session later today to really get the feel of it!

On beforehand, I appologize for the bad posing of the bike. I had been working on it for 13 hours straight, so I was kind of tired... I will take a better photo with my proper camera once the fog clears :)
