That is a beautiful machine! Can I ask if you had any issues when mounting the chainset, and what type of bearing cups have you used?

thanks for the compliment :)

there are several possibilities of mounting a 3d+ into a osbb-frame like that

1. you use the normal pf30 bb which comes with the frame and mount your 3d+ directly with the 11mm spacers on both sides
2. you can use bb-cups from www.c-bear.com, they replace the spacers and you don't need any pf30-cups
3. you can use an bsa-adapter (also from c-bear) and use the ritor bsa-30 cups (this is my solution)

the 3d+ chainset fits into nearly every bb without probs

its said to save nearly 6 watts, i think that can not be verified, but it runs very very smooth, even when you turn the cranks backwards by hand, its feeling truly easyer than on my other bikes

Well it sure looks great regardless of any watts saved ;)
Was it any lighter than the original cage? Is it the ceramic version?

ceramic but a little heavier than the original ;), it's probably the derailleur of gilbert :), the canyon team sold three of the 2012 team-derailleurs, i bought one of them
