I really don't know exactly why I decided to start this project. Truth is I don't actually need this frame as it makes my 5th road bike in a raw.

During the long wait of this journey from China to its new home, I had second and third thoughts of selling it the next day it was supposed to be delivered. But now its built up and I am really happy on how it looks and more importantly on how it rides: smooth and fast!

And finally, after all, I do own an original, authentic Chinese bike ;o) So here the build list and some shots!

Frame: Hong-Fu sourced, FM-066SL, size 58, 928gr (internal cabling, Di2 ready, BB30, tapered head, UD matte finish)
Fork: Carbon, 378 gr uncut
Headset: Neco, provided with the frame
Seat post: Carbon 27,2mm provided with the frame
Seat clamp: KCNC Road Pro SC9
Saddle: Fizik Antares Braided
Controls: Campagnolo Chorus 11s
Crankset: Campagnolo Chorus 50/34
RD: Campagnolo Chorus 11s
FD: Campagnolo Record
Brakes: Campagnolo Record
Handlebars: 3T Ergosum Ltd 44cm
Stem: Bontrager RXL 120mm
Tape: Fizik
Rims: Farsports 38mm carbon tubulars, 2x laced all around (270 and 275gr out of 300gr claimed)
Hubs: BHS 85gr/24 holes front, 206gr/28 holes rear
Spokes: Sapim CX-Rays
QRs: BHS sourced
Tires: Bontrager XXX tubs
Bottle cages: Bontrager XXX
Pedals: Look KeO Max2 carbon

Total weight (according to the above config): 6480gr!

What did the wheels weigh once they were built? I'd love that setup for my CAAD, and I'm sure it would be much lighter than what I've got on there now.

Thanks guys. I did my second ride today, 63km, 1200m gain. I feel a significant difference in vertical compliance compared to my Orca but no loss of power transfer. I dont know if this feasible but at least the bike in-total provide a pleasant feeling.

Here are some more shots:

nice build! im building up my fm066sl now ! Although I'm pretty sure your rear hub didn't weigh 106 grams, unless its some one off prototype. The seatpost that came with it I couldnt use ( i need no setback) so it'll go on cl .
