Something a bit different from BMC, its a 2013 frame so runs 26" wheels with 100mm travel but its built into a pretty light XC race bike at 10.2kg.

Here is the build list i only have weights for some of the parts which i'll add later.

first impressions are a nicely detailed frame the frame is plenty stiff and has great acceleration with 26" wheels, need to get some miles on it to dial in the setup.

Forks, DT Swiss XMM 100mm travel, 15mm bolt through RWS axle.

Bars, 680mm branded Bontrager RXL but at the price i'm pretty sure they are copies.

Brakes, Formula R1 with Mixmaster mounts,
Rotors, Ashima Airotor 180mm front 160mm rear,

Cables, Shimano XTR silicone, with Transfil gear cable waterproof kit for the front mech, an excellent cheap way of waterproofing a cable set.
Rear mech, SRAM X9 type 2 clutch mech medium cage 10 speed
Front mech, Shimano XT direct mount, with lengthened slot to suit 44 front ring.
Chain, KMC X10SL
Cranks, FSA K force light 170mm double, fitted with Controltech 29 x 44 rings and ceramic bottom bracket.

I like it, always like the BMC frames

Question, is there much room in the rear for a 650b wheel?

Hi, yes the frame is really nicely detailed with the anodised fittings etc.

First thing i tried was 650B wheels as that had been my plan, but the bridge at the linkage on the chain-stays means its a no go, so will have to settle with running the 26" wheels.
