That is a really good weight. I envy you guys with smaller bikes. My Z5 weighs in at 6.15kg in XL, but due to size will never be the lightest.
Enjoy riding it

Amazing how light this bike is given the component list.

Got to be honest I was surprised - I was expecting more like 5.7-5.8. Part of me wants to double check with some different scales and the other part of me wants to keep the psychological advantage of believing it's 5.32!

It sounds like it was weighed by Deda Elementi's marketing department.

Sugarkane - Right I've definitely got to try some different scales as my bike isn't in the same league as yours!

nicely done :)

weight doesn't really matter as long as the ride is good! (but yeah.....5.3 is a little low with some of the items in your build list - i say yours is probably a 5.7 which is already WW level!)

have fun!

Here are the weights of his components (* = actuals from various sources, ** = mfg spec, *** = best guess):

303 Firecrest Clinchers [1475 g]**
Pro Race 4 Service Corsa [400 g]**
Zipp rim tape [20 g]***
Continental Supersonic tubes [106 g]*
Super Record F&R Der and Shifters [569 g]*
Cannondale SI SL cranks [580 g]**
Far & Near brakes [218 g]**
KMC X11 SL chain [229 g]**
Recon Ti cassette 11-27 [159 g]**
Time RXS Ti pedals [195 g]**
C-Tec seatpost [122 g]*
S-Works Toupe saddle [115 g]**
Zipp Service Course stem [120 g]**
Zipp SL SS bars [170 g]**
Fizik Superlight soft touch tape [50 g]***
Campag cables [246 g uncut]*
Tacx Tao carbon cages [29 g]**

So that's 4,803 grams without the frame/fork/headset/hanger. The claimed weight of the complete bike is 5,320 grams. That means that the frame/fork/headset/hanger has to weigh 517 grams, so yeah, something is a bit amiss. Assuming my weights are somewhat accurate and that the frame is on the low end of the range Parlee specifies (750-875 grams), I'm guessing that it's more like 5.8 kg (which is still really good).

We should have a contest...closest without going over! Given that of the items on this list that I have owned, almost all were over claimed weight...and what I know my Z% SLi frame to have weighed...my guess is 5.94 kg

OK - so weighed again at LBS and pretty much the same, so I've got them to order new scales!

My guess for the sweepstake is 5.86!

Most importantly it feels amazing
