Thanks guys. It feels good to see my best effort get such positive responses from a tough & enthusiastic crowd. :D

I will post an updated list of component weights & a pic. of the bike on a hanging scale. It should weigh just over 6400 grams.

Truly magnificent. I would have gone for a Campagnolo record headset, bottleholder, seatpost and seatpost clamp but I know that's just nitpicking
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

Thanks Timo. The Record seatpost was my original choice even before the Edge and the first component I bought for this bike. By the way, that seatpost clamp is indeed a Campagnolo one and it came with the seatpost. What I didn't like about the post is that the 31.6mm version looked too much like a converted/modified version of the 27.2mm post. It seems to have been made by using a step-up type spacer to achieve its diameter. Plus, the post is somewhat of a pig at 250-260 grams. I was able to tune the Superzero to 144 grams and I think it can be further lightened with another cradle.

I love the older Colnagos. Wish I still had my C50.

EP is my favorite Colnago with the C40.

Some good taste in your build. Is that Regal finished with suede leather?

Yes, It's one of the 'Urban Performance' saddles they had for a couple years.
