10/17 update:

Been tweaking the RCA in an effort to break 11 lbs. Finally did it (barely) -- weighed in at 10lbs 15oz (10.9lbs). Recent upgrades:

- Replaced Conti Comps with Veloflex Extremes
- Replaced Selle Italia saddle with AX Lightness Leaf
- Replaced front derailleur inner cable (from Aican DLC to Powercordz -- still can't get the RD to shift properly with Powercordz)
- Removed 20mm spacer above stem and cut steerer tube

I was also able to replace the white Lightweight decals with black ones for a more discrete look.

Probably end of the road in terms of further reducing weight but I'm happy with the way things turned out with this bike. The first 2 photos are old -- last 5 are current.

7/26 update:

Finally completed the RCA build this evening after sitting on the frame for over a month, waiting for parts to arrive. Went through 2 sets of Power Cordz for the deraillerus (with Aican housings) but couldn't get the RD to shift properly. Gave up and just used the stock Aican DLC cables. Here's the build list:

Ax Lightness 42mm bar
Ax Lightness Daedalus seatpost
Ax Lightness 100mm stem
Extralite Ultrastar 2 expansion plug (spacers above the stem are for fitting purposes -- will be removed)
THM Clavicula 110 crankset w/ Praxis mid-compact rings (52/36)
THM Fibula brakeset (KCNC titanium cables w/ Aican housing)
Campy 80th Anniversary shifters
Campy 80th Anniversary derailleurs (Aican DLC cables w/ Aican housing)
Time Xpresso 12 pedals
Lightweight Obermayer wheelset w/ Conti Comp tires
Selle Italia Teknoflow saddle
Lightweight Edelhelfer water bottle cages

Took her out for a quick spin around the block just to set preliminary saddle height, fore/aft adjustment, handlebar rotation, and shifting under load. Will have to fine tune shifting when cables are stretched.

Pretty sure I've got a raging hard boner right now. This build is going to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

do you think that before you mount the cranks you could put them on the scale with the bb, crank and rings please?

The Aican cables are a great choice, they are a substantial upgrade to the shifting with SR

Looks promising.
Candy for my eyes with the understated but not totally stealth stickers on parts.
Re saddle choice: Have you tried that one before or other preferences when choosing the SI TF?
