How do you like the michelin pro4 tires? Are they 23 or 25? I suggest to get a UNO stem to light it up for very cheap.
Happy Trails !!!

Thanks Liggero! I have been keen on sanding down the FSA stuff and making it all matte....but then I do like how they are all matched, and kind of set the bike apart from other stealth builds.

I got rid of the 38s because I had no reason to have both wheelsets. There was a ~200 gram difference between the wheelsets so I kept the most "all around" set. Also, I am going to Colorado in August and wasn't sure about defending on the carbon clinchers.

Didn't really ride them long enought to give an honest opinion......they were 23s. I can't say that they wowed me or anythign straight away. Comfort is not on par with my current Veloflex Corsa, but that really wouldn't have been expected.

Hello 11 speed.......thought about going Ultegra 6800, but since I am running Ultegra 6700 now it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. If you're gonna do it, do it right.

Bought this today:

Bought these a few days ago and they came in today:

Now just need to find some reasonable levers, mechs chain and block and she'll "go to 11".

Thanks MrHeng

Yes, they are those from Fairwheel.

I will give you a better report when I get some more miles in, but I am impressed thus far. Stiff and nice for climbing despite the weight being high, but still very forgiving on rough roads which was the main reason I went for them besides being cheap and 11 speed. Always wanted a really nice set of handbuilts by a true master wheelbuilder with some solid, nice quality hubs and so far I am very happy with these. Not that I don't like the bitex, BHS, etc. lightweight hubs because I do and they certainly serve a purpose, but these DT's are smooth and very, very nice.

Looking forward to building this up! Should be a big upgrade in functionality from 5700/6700 mix I had. Will update more weights when I finish the build on Tuesday.

Picking up some different saddles to try and get off that carbon saddle......it's light but not very comfortable for 50+ rides......it always kills me when I weigh another saddle though

Monk,

Not sure. Got it off a local guy....probably just one of the many generic Chinese saddles. It is really very comfortable to be honest and I may end up staying with it. I just want to experiment with different shapes to find something better, if possible.
