So early this year our team bring caad12 as our official team bike for special occasion or event, at my first though i just go with whatever i can find from my old bike parts and build this with 7.55 kg.

After 2000km ride with this baby i start feel this bike deserve some upgrades but i didnt want to spent more than 2k. My goal is sub 6

Build list
Mavic cosmic ultimate
Ultegra 6800 rd fd shifter
Fsa carbon cockpit
Fsa klight with stages power meter
Lots of heavy stuff in it

So heres some plan
1. Sub 1 kg wheels probably farsport with carbon ti hub with Tufo s3 lite? Can anyone give me option for lighter tubular tires.

2. Sram red 10s rd fd shifter and cassette with kmc x10sl chain

3. Crankset i already bought Sram red 22 165mm pf30 and absolute black chainring (i know its not the lightest option but i love oval chainring)

4. Supersix evo hi mod fork, paint stripped, slammed stem.

5. Other component upgrade lighter alloy stem, carbon seatpost, and zipp sl bar?

Thanks :)

toss the valve caps. replace the seatpost with a CF one and saw it to size. those are two of the easy tweaks.

You can also check if the bolts in the stem are steel and then replace them with Ti.
