Time to upgrade from my well abused S3. Decided to stay Aero, and stick with Cervelo. Size 58 after my previous 56 S3.

To start with the frame:
Image
1160 grams with bottom bracket, hanger, and bottle cage bolts

Fork:
Image
350 grams

And seatpost:

204 grams

Trimmed a bit off (19 grams)

Brings it down to 185 grams.

The frame is lighter than I expected for a 58, and the fork weight is pretty damn good too. Looking forward to seeing this come together.

BB 80g, hanger 8g, few bolts and bb cover all come to about 100g.
So 1060g for this kind of frame in this size, pretty damn good.
I got myself the same one in the same size, weights are almost identical.
I don't know where they assemble these bikes, definitely not in UK, as they come almost fully assembled from Germany (bought it as complete bike for total stripping) but somebody messed the hanger bolts up to the point I will have to drill them to take the hanger off.
Be careful with the seatpost cradle, especially for the carbon rails one.
The mounting bolts' faces may touch each other resulting not enough clamping force.
Even the seat may seem to be clamped properly, during the ride it will start moving. That happened to me. The grooves on the post's metal part have almost gone. I added extra thick spacer which allowed me to tighten the bolts a bit more, tad above the recommended 12Nm.
Will see if it holds.

What are you going to put on it, apart the Red brakes?

Thanks for those extra weights. The seatpost is the same as I had to deal with on the s3, it's not the best system, found the seat slipping while racing quite a few times. Having to try level a saddle again on the fly was never fun. Found jacking it up to 14Nm did the trick in the end.

As for the rest of the build, going etap for the shifting.

Battery x2:

24 grams x2 = 48 grams

So far up to 2640 grams, with a lot more to add.

Those tubes are a sin. If you prefer Butyl, Specialized has pre-Talc'd tubes that I think are around 70g or so each.

That weight is pretty rude. I'm a big fan of cheap tubes, the roads around here are awful.

Schwalbe Extra light saves the day.

Rubber stoppers:

Side note, is there anything I should use to plug up the holes in these stoppers? Like a putty or similar.

I used Sugru for all unwanted wholes including di2 battery ones (removed bolts) and one of the three down tube bottle holders.

Time for the training wheels.

I'm using a set of Stans Alpha 400 rims 28/32 laced to Stans hubs. Super durable combo that is onto it's second winter with no problems at all.

Front:

Rear:

I found a bag of Veloplugs and decided to give them a try

After

Total 9 grams

Trusty Ultegra 6800 12-25 Cassette
Image
243 grams

So according to my weights I should have 2542 grams.

2556 grams.

Difference is 14 grams, which is from pinching a tube and having to use a heavier alternative.

Saddle is a Specialized Power Expert, I'd like to swap this out for the SWorks version to shave some weight. Nicest saddle I've used.

Image
237 grams

Speedplay pedals - not sure on the exact model of these, they were included with my TT bike when I bought it.

Image
207 grams

Expander cap - Cervelo's standard alloy tube that you epoxy in is pretty heavy:

Image
37 grams

so saved a few grams using this FSA option.

22 grams
