I'm sorry, but I don't see the point in buying 3 b'Twins in stead of one great-looking non-mall bike for the price of those three...
The last one could look decent if you turn all red into black.

You wouldn't by any chance be affiliated with Decathlon? Such as an employee, or otherwise associated? Just asking, because who in their right mind buys not one, but four(!) bikes at the same place where they buy their sandals, ping pong rackets and the occasional tent or sleeping bag...
It's one thing to buy an entry level bike as an entry into amateur cycling, or the seasoned cyclist acquiring a winter trainer or such, at the local sporting goods supermarket. But buying a whole fleet, you have to allow some small amount of suspicion here?
Do you work at Decathlon?

I don't work at Decathlon, don't worry!.
I'm only satisfied with their products.
First time I showed my B'Twin at my mechanic, he was not very happy. But, after working on it and tried it, he thought bike was not so bad.
Other friends of mine tried my bikes and were positively surprised by them.
Try one once...

I'm occupationally a mechanic, with a Decathlon store just across the street from the bike shop where I work. So I do get my hands on them every know and then, and ofcourse test ride every bike I've done repairs or maintenance on. I will agree that for the money involved you do get decent value. But really, I do feel they are supermarket bikes in every aspect, from the finish and workmanship, to the ride quality and overall "feel". Not to mention the often senseless solutions to frame structures that are just design.
Disclosure, I'm no stranger to cheap 'n' cheerful budget bikes, and often find myself the victim of Planet X's, Chain Reaction Cycles. and the likes online deals on budget frame kits for beater bikes.
Anyway, each to his/her own. If you've found happiness and serenity in a stable of four B'Twins, then all the power to you! I sincerely hope my mistrust/suspicion hasn't offendend you

Don't Worry DMF, I'm not angry.
When I speak about B'Twin's, it's, almost, always the same reaction.
And, have I speak to you about my fifth B'twin? a Cyclo-X?

Whoa. That depends on the bike, I think. I have two in my collection. Arietta one a Vuelta stage on one of them and Cyril Dessel wore a uniquely-coloured jersey on the other. The bikes are actually made by Time for Decathlon. Come to think of it, they actually might be some my favourite bikes...
Triban 520 was actually tested in Tour Magazine and they were surprised by the bike. It's no race bike but a decent all rounder for next to nothing according to them.
