beautifully put together build. Two nitpicks, though. The tires are mounted backwards and the shipping stickers were left on the brakes. Other than those, admittedly minor things, she's a beaut.

Beautiful! My LBS had a red one for a while that I was seriously lusting after.

How's the ride?

Well done, that's a "show bike".
If you're going to ride it though, let us know what you think

Not sure about the rim's profile and the choise of tape/saddle color. Other than that it is really nice.

Very cool and classy looking bike.

Personally I think the handlebar and maybe hoods looks a bit out of place, with the deep black color.

Beautiful bike. It looks even better in its natural environment (on the road and not in a studio!)

All, thank you for stopping by and your kind words!

Today was its first ride out, as I was expecting the roads to dry out. Actually, I had to carry the bike on my shoulders when run on a wet section of the road...

Ride quality was amazing, especially on the paved road of the mnt, frame and fork absorbed all the road buzz but did not felt like wasting power when off the saddle. Ofcourse it was an easy, recovery ride but did get some good feedback on its potential.

Athena was right on, all the time, was really happy with that as I was expecting a significant drawback compared to my SR. One thing I didnt quite like was the shape of the classic bend of the handlebars, I am more into the modern compact shapes.

Wheels were nicely rolling as well and the saddle felt good also but as I said it was just a one and half hour break-in ride.

Here are some shots from down the road!
