Now I must start to save some bike-weight ! I know I can beat the factory Ducati 1199 R Panigale (165kg +17kg gasoline=182kg.)
I have, after 25 years, understood that I actually only use THE LARGE CHAIN RING.
Here in Denmark, in Central Copenhagen, we have separate cycle paths on the roads. Not on all the really small ones.
And everybody own one or more bikes ! Much faster around than any other Means of transportation.
And we SALT these bike-paths (and the roads as well) in Winter time !!! Huge amounts (tons and tons) of concentrated NaCl - eating all normal types of metal n alloys, creating crystals when dried abrading rubber seals...Very sad.

This Winter-salting, often "coroded" My front derailleur so it couldn't move correctly, but I NEVER really missed the middle- and granny ring !!!
Therefore I have used the 1x10 /(9 at first) setup for 6 years now.
- And the "Ducati" will also have 10speeds !
Weee eeee !! -I saved some good grams, with this move..
- So here is MY FAVOURITE Rear Derailleur : The "Very hard to get" RED 2011 SRAM X9 tp.1 with (i know it can get shorter) Medium Cage.

I will tune this derailleur with all the treats. More later, when I have all the fine light parts.
(this X9 tp.1 version, is so tight and smooth, that I suspect it's "made in Switzerland ")
I haven't tried the SRAM XX rear , but I can understand it's a safe bet too. Lighter, smoother, BUT NOT THE RED COLOUR !!.
Three parts on Bike are Red. - Frame, Stem and Rear mech. Like stretching the hole bike a Little...
Late night now here. More will follow.
