Hello everyone. Been reading and browsing this site for a couple of years, but for some reason never registered. I am an active member of Roadbikereview and have been actively participating there.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and introduce my bikes:

I saw them on RBR. You have superb taste and the bikes look excellent. I don't need to ask if they perform equally as excellent, because I already know they do. I own one.

Nice! Out of curiousity, isn't the main advantage of the Tarmac over the Venge the lighter weight?

I guess some would argue so. As you can see from my two bikes, their weight are not that different. I honestly feel like I can climb just as well on my Venge as my SL4. Maybe b/c of the SL4's geometry, it does feel a bit snappier when you are out of the saddle attacking a climb. But when you are pacing yourself up a long hilly ascent, I feel comfortable with either bike. As for the flats, the Venge does give you the feeling of moving faster. Not sure exactly why, but when I am on the Venge, I tend to shift to higher gears in the rear....it just wants you to push harder.
