Here is my new evo. It has been a labour of love for about 7 months. I sanded the frame down and matte clearcoated it, not to save weight, but because i didn't like the green stripes. Then i slowly built it up as funds allowed. I sanded down my shifters, seatpost, stem, RD and bars too, and matte black painted the spacers and bolts on the ee brakes, the outer aspect of the FD cage. I have also included pics of my SL3, a recent warranty replacement for my sadly deceased Tarmac SL after yeas of loyal service.

I really like the Evo (I happen to own one as well). And I know Tarmacs are great rides as well.

Great Evo. It's easy to deal with it.

like your custom EVO look a little better than my EVO. My storm trooper version is a little busy, however the ride is awesome.
Let's finish the ride with a 20% grade.

Agreed the ride is lovely. Not sure if it is down to the frame or lightweights but much more comfortable than the tarmac.

I had a Tarmac with dura ace c24's now on my EVO, it is the frame in my opinion. Now if the rain would stop we all can get out and ride, indoor riding is killing me.

The Evo is the newest and i must say it is my favourite at the moment. They are both setup almost identically - ergonova bars, sram red, toupe saddle, same drop so I didn't think i would notice a big difference in the weight, but when riding, it is blatantly obvious, especially accelerating uphill. The Evo is also much smoother riding. But i feel bad saying all that, it is like saying you like one child more. Both are great bikes and both exceed my humble abilities.
