I see what you mean, but no it hasn't. I rechecked it out this morning and it's just the photo angle. If it was covered in a clear coat and the epxoy a little smoother it wouldn't look that way. But I'm pleased with how it rides and Weeracers efforts on it

Wow. Thanks! Wasn't sure what sort of reaction the bike would get from some of the elder statespeople on the board who have seen all manner of awesomeness over the years, so that comment is greatly appreciated! :D

I have plans for the new year for it. The obvious weight saving is the crank area. It's a heavyish crankset. Ideally I'd like something that will work with BB86 without too much mucking around with adaptors. THM M3 is out of my reach financially and no one brings them into New Zealand. If I bought it myself the customs charges would be fairly big. The idea of a non branded Lightning is appealing. But also I'm thinking of the 2013 Campag SR or Record 52/36 combination.

Or I could save up and wait for a Wert crankset once available - along with a stem - that could be the ultimate for me, and then I'd be pretty happy!!!

A little easier to get to such an impressive weight given the size of the bike!
Nice build
(I think it's just me, but for some reason small bikes just don't do it for me...guess I can't imagine myself riding them!)

I small so bike fit is important. I'm only 5'6 and weigh 69kg so it's a perfect match for me.
