Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
So, this year I will go aero. Hence, I have built a Boardman AiR/9.8 with my favorite parts.
Build list:
Frame: Boardman AiR/9.8, size SM. 1122g
Fork: Boardman AiR, tapered. 376g cut
Seatpost: Boardman AiR. 184g cut and tuned with ti bolts
Seat: Parts of Passion. 61g
Stem: ENVE 130mm. 126g
Handlebar: ENVE 42 c/c. 203g
Group: DA 7900 with ti bolts
Pedals: DA7900
Crank: ROTOR 3D+ with Power2Max and Aero Q-rings
Wheels: ENVE Smart 6.7 with Vittoria Evo SC tubs and PoP QR's
Total weight as pictured: 6.740 grams.
I will either paint the seat white or put black bar tape on. Either way, it's going to be Lizard Skinz there.

thats a pretty decent weight for an aero bike with deep section wheels.
Very nice, they only thing I don't like is that the frame is overcrowded with stickers. Other than that it's great!
Good choices all around. Ive always wanted to try one of those frames. How is the ride? Weight is impressive.

I like the ride. I actually had a chance to ride the last race last season on the bike, so it has been tested a bit. The geometry is very neutral. Not too twitchy or stable. It's front end stiffness is of course not as high as the Storck Fenomalist I came from, but it feels a lot more stable than the aero Cervelos I have tried and didn't like. It's not as narrow as the Cervelos, which I think is the reason for the better compromise (IMO) of aero and stiffness.

It's a carbon saddle, you can paint it and clear coated it.
