:thumbup:
Well anyway impressive. Of course the frame could be lighter at 200g.

It's on my top list for the best frame, and that paint job is very nice! :thumbup:

So many frames look best with low profile wheels but this superb brute of a frame looks great with high profile ones.

I agree with micky your Cipo frame must be one of the most impressive looking frames out there. I love it!!

@konky and all fellow ww,

thanks for the compliments.
indeed the frameset looks a lot better with a higher profile wheelset, I did try putting on the LW Ventoux but somehow :shock:

currently considering the Bora Ultra 80..any comments :?:

Great bike! Compliments for not choosing EPS. I hate its bulky battery which ruins the aesthetics. Again, as far as I like simple frames, I really have to change my mind about those "curved" ones. Really nice bike!

Do you use Tekno version of SLR? How much does it weight? Do you like it? Can you compare it to the Ti/standard version? I really like SLR saddle, but was wondering if Tekno one would be pretty the same in terms of comfort? Any ideas?

Congratulation on your stunning bike! I think with such a full frame the RB1000 could easily carry off
Bora Ultra 80's or maybe even 80 rear 50 front?

Please post a picture if you decided to do it.

@apLe, Sparks,

have to agree the EPS battery bulk is a turn off, however the worst part was the rear shifts. I just don't see any advantage of the SR EPS over the SR mechanical. in fact, the mechanical SR shifts with better precision, IMHO.

As for the saddle, the SLR Tekno is very well shaped, the nose is slightly narrower compared to the original SLR, improving the longevity of your bib shorts. I can't exactly remember the actual weight, but I believe it's below 80gr or so. Do let me know if you need the actual weight.

For the Fernwegs, I did put that into consideration but looking at the cost and the practicality in usage here in Japan (unpredictable wind conditions and my weight of 57kg), the Bora 80 may be most suitable, i think..

So maybe try MadFibre wheels? Or ZIPP 808? I haven't ridden any of those wheels, but I think that ZIPPs are the least prone to wind blows. Bora 80' are great looking wheels and they will match your Campy group.

The Boras would certainly match the superb macho look of your Cipo. They're Italian, they're dramatic, they're stylish and for me an absolute must. 100% Boras. They're also great wheels. Yes nothing else will do.

Internal mechanical is quicker than EPS? Interesting...
I only train on days that end with "y".
