Thought I would introduce my Ridley cross bike wich I have had tons of fun on this winter..
Frame:
Ridley X ride 10 size 56
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Sran force (sadly the drive side pedal tread came loose on the last trip so need a new set of crank arms)
Pedals:
Shimano SPD
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Wolftooth single chainring 38T
Derailleurs/Shifters:
SRAM Rival
Handlebars/Stem:
Thomson 120mm X4 stem,Strrtos bars
Saddle/Seatpost:
Thomson Elite post, china carbon saddle
Brakes:
Avid Ultimate Shorty
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano RS11 Schwalbe Rocket Rons
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Shimano RS11 Schwalbe Rocket Rons
8,6 kg as it is here.
Other then a new set of cranks, i need a wider range casette on the rear, the one thats on now only goes to 25, 32 wuld be nice, but I dont think the short cage derailure can handle that, 28 is probably the largest.

Lovely! I've just picked up one of those framesets for my son. I plan on using your build as a bit of a benchmark (although I confess that it will probably end up with non - weenie kit such as Ultegra 6600, training wheels etc).

Thanks for sharing

switch to Force 22 cranks (36-46) - you add 150g but versatility ... just is ;) .

Find in net also seatpost clamp with rear brake cable hanger ;) your "solution" look odd...

While ago had '54 X-ride , 7.7kg ( Force22, Rotor crank 36-46 miche super 11, Avid SU, Fizik Antares R3 braided, Rotor 110mm stem, FSA K-force 43cm bar, HED C2 on DT 350 + DT Aerolite/ Campagnolo Eurus 2 way fit , XT pedals.)

Frame & fork are VERY nicely made, however geometry felt ... weird for me. So changed frameset...

Thanks for the comments :) I could not find a force/red crankset at a decent price so went with a APEX crankset, so waiting for that to arrive. regarding the cable for the rear brake, i know it looks odd, but it works. But if I find the correct size, i will get a decent seat clamp with hanger!
