Hey all

I recently moved to Chicago from Australia, and was wanting to get back into bikes. In a past life (minus a few years, minus a number of kgs) I was mainly into track but also very keen on road TTs... I live nearish the loop in Chicago - I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for clubs/groups in Chicago who are riding/training, and preferably have a couple of nutters who are into TT. I'm expecting a pretty cold/lonely winter, would be great to know of some people doing basement turbo sessions etc and or heading out of the city riding before winter comes.

Thanks!

Pat

When I lived in Wisconsin about ten years ago XXX Racing club was growing fast.
Raced against them on the Kenosha velodrome and Northbrook velodrome. They were connected with Yo Jimbo's Garage, a bike shop not far from the Loop: Yojimbo’s Garage is a single-location, brick and mortar bicycle shop on Chicago’s near North side: 1310 N Clybourn Ave, established in 1997.

Get in touch with them I'd say.
