nice bikes!

out of curiosity, why did you get the MCFK bars designed for bar-ends if you do not use bar-ends? i'm awaiting delivery on a set of MCFK bars (not for bar-ends). just curious if there is any reason to get the bar-end version (better in a crash)?

how do you like that stem-steerer combination? i'm evaluating lefty steerer options but do wonder about failure (of steerer or lightweight stem) during hard XC riding or racing.

thanks for sharing! maybe i'll post my flash soon.

I have a pair of bar ends which I didn't install them right now. But they'll be on the bike probably for nationals. I have MCFK 640mm not for bar ends and I chipped one the sides as shown in picture.

As for the MCFK steerer , It feels the same as the OPI only difference is the weight. I will start racing pro/cat 1 here in Texas so it should take a beating, I bet it'll hold up just fine. :)

My MCFK 31.8x600mm looks exactly the same, if it suffers a hard beating, it's not the reinforced ends that will save it.

Nice bikes, great taste.

Cheers
