I know...

But with all the WW upgrades it will soon be just as expensive... :D

60-70% of the brake is matte black, and the rest is high gloss chrome. They would fit my bike better if they were glossy grey as the new Ultegra. But it is okay...

I gave my ZG's to my wife. She is 45kg so enough power for her. I also considered the 7900s, but found the TRP R970SL. Did you also consider these? Looking good with the 404s. I guess you haven't tried them out yet, but when you do could you report back on the stiffness of the rear wheel. Apparently Zipp have changed the lacing for 2014 to make it stiffer.

Haven't seen the R970SL in the flesh. But since I have really good experience with the braking power of Shimanos brakes, I didn't hesitate to buy these.

The picture is from summer, so I have done a fair amount of riding on the 404's. They seem pretty stiff - well, at least enough for me to not have any rubbing. And I am a 80+ kg guy.

Good to hear as I might buy a pair of 303s for my CAAD10.

I am considering the same... to replace my 38 mm China wheels. They are absolutely stunning...

Like a glove... I love that saddle.

I have tilted it a bit for next season. Felt like I was sliding down (forwards)...

Thanks, Morten... you will probably see more of my TT-bike next year, since I am racing the Chrono Cup.

Happy new year... :)

Great bike and build. Greetings and New Years from the sunny California foothills. I am glad you ended up with the wheels you wanted, but I was looking forward to hearing how the Extralites held up. :beerchug:

OP - sorry if I missed this detail - but WHY did you remove the Recon cassette and replace it with DA?
