If light weight is what you're after, I'd re-lace the Mavic rims to the Kings, and lace the 355s to the 240s.

Because right now you have a set of light hubs with heavier rims, and a set of heavier hubs with light rims.

So instead of having a set of light race wheels and a set of all-day, ride anywhere wheels, you have two sets of medium weight wheels.

Ah, I see. That makes sense, then.

I'd get something with larger volume than the Crow for the front, but that's just my opinion.

Sweet 29er! I prefer the single gear route but I did make a compromise and add a suspension fork to my 29er. Hope do you like the Hope brakes? I"m running BB7 with Alligator I-Link housing and cables with Avid Ultimate levers. They work great but I know I could go lighter.

So, why did you put 26" wheels in your bike for all the pictures except the first two?
