I liked the white seatpost better. It also seems that the stem is short and the seat is slammed aft. Good lookin' bike. Too bad they're from Wisconsin! Cheezheads!

MrNoChain, how long is the new seat post? Where did you get it?

Thanks

I definitely like it better with the black seat mast (175mm, BTW - they're available at most any Trek retailer, and look on ebay). No offense, but there's just something about this build that doesn't flow. Like there's some black, but not a complete commitment to it. I had a similar dilemma with my Madone (Green/White finish) and just committed to making everything black, except the frame. I think the same thing would work for you here. It would make the frame pop.

That being said, your bike looks like a solid foundation. Go out there and ride!

It's been a long time since i've updated my topic (none of my pictures seem to work anymore).
At the moment i'm trying this carbon saddle, not sure if it will stays ... looks great for the picture :). In this setup the bike weighs exactly 6.9kg.

It's the fourth year i'm starting with the Domane and i still love the bike. Stiff and reponsive and yet comfortable for the Flemish roads, it's a winning combo.

Not really. I bought a new mountainbike last month (Procaliber 9.7), that will get priority now :)
