Hi everyone!

I'm 31yo guy from Finland started cycling year ago after vacation at German Alps and was hooked right away! Few weeks ago things totally got out of hands when I considered a new bike and few weeks later I was _very_happy_ owner of a 2009 Canyon CF Team-bike! :D

Well, I thought that if I would buy now 2K€-3K€ bike I would anyway be tempted to upgrade it after 1-1,5 year so buying good enough bike right away I will save in long run. =)

But without further ado: 2009 Canyon CF Team "Silence Lotto"

EDIT2: 2012 New Pictures:
Last season the frame broke around the bottom bracket and I got new frame for this season from Canyon. I have changed the stem to Syntace and just trimmed to steerer tube. Also got new white decals for the wheels and last year I changed white Hüdz for my brake levers.

EDIT3: Oh, and too bad I just managed to get flat on my rear tube.=( So have to ride with "spare tire" for some time even though they don't quite match visually.:P

Image

EDIT: New pictures I took today. Wheels now without decals. Maybe add white "Cosmic" decals during winter.

Thanks! It feels great too! Extremely fast, comfortable and steering is precise.

Second bike actually. Same day I came from Germany last summer I went to bike shop and got myself a Focus Cayo Ultegra: OK Frame but geometry was weird, OK gears and brakes, OK wheels (Mavic Aksiums) and rest was absolute crap. And generally the riding experience with Focus: I couldn't ride for more than app. 1hour without stopping because my feet went numb and after that they begin to hurt so bad I had to stop and take shoes off. Week ago 112km ride with Canyon and not any problems what so ever.

Also here is what happened to Focus' crappy Truvativ Elita cranks. Were never crashed, were never bumped against anything, just snapped after I changed to biggest gear before big downhill and started to accelerate:

I sold that Focus to my father-in-law.=)

I think that's a win as far as getting a bike you'll not be tempted to upgrade in 12 months time.

I give it 6 months though before you look at some lighter wheels :P

Was meant in terms of there not being a whole lot more you might want to change.

Plus some nice Edge rims could cut 150g and would look smokin'!

LOL dunno!=) Just noticed it.

EDIT: Now it's fixed. The spare cable on the derailleur end still bothers though...

Nope, the cable was just folded the wrong way when you put the handlebars on. Might be the angle of the photos but the saddle looks very angled?

Great bike though.
