A few years ago I had my first real experience riding Ti. It was a demo Seven Axiom SL with Campy Chorus components and Ksyrium SL rims. Needless to say, I immediately fell in love and shortly thereafter Thelma arrived. She is a 2010 Axiom SL with the following components.

SRM Super Record 50/34 crank
Super Record rear mech
Chorus front mech and shifters
Record brakes
Edge 2.0 fork
Even 3.4 Tubular Rims
Chris King R45 hubs
Vittoria Evo Corsa CX 25mm tubs
Chorus 12/27 cassette
Edge seat post and stem
Zipp carbon short and shallow (44cm) bars
Specialized Romin Pro 155mm saddle
Speedplay Zero pedals
Lizard Skin bar tape
Campy cables throughout

Then about two years later, along came Louise. She is a carbon Diamas SL. I loved the look of her and thought that I pinned for carbon again, so I made the splurge, only to realize that once you go Ti, its really hard to go back. So last week I welcomed a new addition to the family: Bertha. (Don't worry about Louise, my son is getting her for his 21st birthday later this spring.)

Bertha is a Seven Mudhoney SL and she is heavenly. She is build up with:

Campy Athena EPS (rear & front mechs and shifters)
Super Record 50/34 crank (originally on Thelma)
Chorus 12/29 cassette
Whisky 7 disc fork
Hayes Mechanical C5 disc brakes (160 and 140 rotors)
Stans Iron Cross ZTR rims
DT 240 iso hubs
Clement 33mm LAS tires
Zipp Service Course SL seat post
Zipp Service Course SL stem (120)
Zipp Serivce Course SL bars (44cm)
Specialized Romin Evo 155mm saddle
Speedplay Zero pedals
Lizard Skin bar tape

Waiting for FedEx man to deliver (should be here tomorrow!) another set of wheels for Bertha (HED Belguim Plus disc specific rims, DT 240 iso, Aerolite bladed spokes) on which I will run Clement X'Plor Ush tires.

Would love your thoughts on how to improve.

Yes, the head tube was a bit short, but in the end not as much as it appears in the pictures. I was still recovering from a hip replacement (have had both hips done now) when I took those picts and didn't have much flexibility back yet. Even with a better fit though, the ride simply wasn't as smooth the Axiom. Interestingly, Seven has stopped making full carbon bikes in part because they couldn't match the all day comfort that they delivered with their Ti or Ti/Carbon models.

't I guess with Ti hips I simply have to ride Ti bikes!

Looks like Thelma could use a zero-setback seatpost. And perhaps a black saddle.

Bertha is looking good

Agreed on both fronts. Will likely replace both the seat post and stem this year. The seat post has a bit of a dent in it (not sure how it happened). While I'm probably being overly cautious (or just using it as an excuse to but some new kit). I am trying to decide whether to stay with Enve or switch to 3T as I've always liked the look of the 3T carbon posts and stems, or just go with the Zipp Service Course SL as I've done on the other two frames.

As for the saddle, will definitely go with another Romin Pro, but in black this time.
