My girlfriend bought herself a nice scott contessa cr1 team, and she wanted to ride with me. As I couldn't follow her on my mountain bike, I decided to build myself a road bike.
I've never done this, and the only road bike I've owned was worth 50$ and came from a dumpster. And that was like 16 years ago.
So about 2 weeks ago I started to read on forums and to shop on ebay and local classifieds. Found a Litespeed Ghisallo from 2009 in almost new condition.
My objective is to keep it light, reliable and nice looking!
I've already bought most of the components to build the bike. I bought almost all of them at a disount, and some were not my first choice, and some others were just a guess, as I am not sure of what I want or like yet. Also some parts already came with the frame, and since I have not been fitted yet, I'm not sure if they are the right size. So there's nothing definitive.
