Very quick overlay of the Scott Foil vs. the Olympia Ikon:

Not that it matters at all, but it reminds me more of an Orbea

Nice frame.

Checked their Website, and the Boost model looks a bit like the Cipo RB1000. Is there a pattern?

yes it is...a 100% RB1000 Frame...but for only 1900€ instead of the 5.500 € for the Cippo...

Not quite, the most apparent difference is the Olympia's curved seat stays, vs fairly straight ones on the RB1000.

So the Olympia is made in Italy too?

Surely not, given the price difference...

Hey Guys,

Well, I can tell you weight is about 1000 grams.
Our size 56 measured just a tad higher, though that includes the hidden battery harness slot for Di2.
Olympia is a big company with a large R&D budget, so I doubt they are copying Scott or anyone else for that matter.
The bike is finished in Italy, but produced where most carbon bikes are, btw.
If you are a real weight weenie, wait till 2013 for a new lightweight model to be released.

The bikes share geometries with Scapin, so they are time-tested and I personally love the handling.
I've been riding a Boost with EPS and have been VERY impressed with the ride quality, which I initially feared would be way too stiff for me.

Here is my Boost (please excuse the build details, which are temporary):

And a pic of an Ikon with Di2 that shows off the hidden battery aspect:

Feel free to PM me if you really want one this summer, otherwise new colours will be announced in late July and then available for order.

Best,
Mike
