The bike also handled weird with so much weight over the front axle so I moved up to a bigger size even though my stem is less manly and I don't get to rock a super pro looking setback post.

I prefer to size up too...

Swapped out my old Thomson for a 130mm -17d to have a better fit. I couldn't resist the matching stem/seatpost combo. Added Aest Ti skewers -100g, and added a Rotor chain catcher +6g (damn SRAM fds)

I should be at approximately 15.85 pounds. I need to go back to a bike shop to weigh it properly.

I'd get a lighter saddle, set of carbon tubular race wheels with a lighter cassette and call it a day!

Thinking of getting some 38mm carbon clinchers from farsports. 1250g compared to my current set at 1440g.

Glad you asked for updates! I actually got the planet x cnc brakes and some yokozuna cables two days ago. I will take photos and actually have my bike weighed at the shop. Photos and official weight up by tonight, hoping for somewhere around 7kg.

Any chance of a close up photo of the graphics? Really like this idea.

Photos up tomorrow night. Be warned though, the vinyls don't look as great up close, just like most women. I got lazy and didn't do as precise of a job as I would have liked.

Update:

So I bought some Yokozuna cables, a FlipLoc Garmin mount, and Planet X CNC brakes. It feels like I'm riding a new bike! Super smooth shifting and braking. I weighed the bike with the garmin mount (but no computer) at the shop with their claimed "inaccurate" scale and it came out to around 15.78 lbs. I had hoped for around 15.6, but I'm just going to blame it on their scale.

And a couple of you have asked how I did the pink 10. Like I said, not as nice up close :noidea: Might redo it sometime.

Update: Look CroMo Blades, Vittoria Latex tubes, chopped the seatpost down a bit.

Down to 15.5lbs or 7.03kg. Any cheaper ways to get to 15lbs/6.8kg flat without getting a new wheelset?

You like the cables? Any positive or noticeable feedback or is it simply weight reduction?
