Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed ✔ FIXED
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken ✔ FIXED
- Avatars cannot be uploaded ✔ FIXED

Please note that we will soon do some changes in WW board template design in case to get a fully mobile/desktop responsiveness board!

Hi All,

I haven't been here for some years. And wanted to show you my new ride/frame.
Back in 2009 i posted my Pinarello FP3 in the topic below:

As i mentioned in my previous topic, i suffer from a chronical back injury.
After some years on the Pinarello my back still feels great. Cause i still can enjoy my cycling and my back isn't suffering from it still.
I decided to please myself another time and exchanged my Pinarello FP3 frame for an Tarmac S-Works SL4 2014.

Only the frame and crank has been exchanged, the other parts are the same (for now).
Build up:
Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL4 2014 (56cm)
S-Works Crankset
Stronglight CT2 rings
ITM K-Sword handlebar
S-Works Stem (to exchange the current 3T after the fine tuning is done)
Campagnolo Record Shifters, FD and RD
Planet-X Brakes
Look Keo Carbon pedals
Infinito R6C wheels / Fulcrum Racing 1 Wheels

the weight of my bike dropped with 700 grams from 7.9 on the Pinarello to 7.2 on the S-Works

I know i can save more weight by swapping the wheels and the handlebar. but the K-Sword handlebar feels great.

I just wanted to share with you that even with a back injury, I went up Alp D'huez, Croix de fer, Glandon, Lauteret, Galibier, Les Deux Alpes last June.
(and ofcourse i wanted to show you my new S-Works :mrgreen: )

New S-works cranks looks great. I hear they are lighter than the previous version but I have not seen them on the scale.

When did the verb "to cycle" get replaced by the horrible "to bike" - I blame people who also swim and run as well.

The term "biking" has been used for some time. In my experience, most people who are not avid cyclists use this term. But yes, I guess cycling sounds more proper phonetically.

Is it really that important to debate about?

Basicaly all the parts where on my FP3 too. (except this frame and the S-Works crank)
The FP3 had a MOST Lynx crank on it (FSA).

total weight of the FP3 with the Infinito wheels was 7.9 Kilograms

I did a weight check again. and the Tarmac with Infinito wheels is 7.16 Kilograms now.
With the Racing 1 Wheels its 7.04 Kilograms

great lookin' rig, wow!

i'm trying to sell my sl2 and after looking at this rig, i may just keep it instead. these sl rigs are indeed nice. your photo, and riding story, are inspiring. how did the bike feel going up & down those big climbs? kudos to you.

I have not been into the hills so far. That's planned for next June again.
I have done about 200kms of flat rides so far.

Below some points that draw my attention during the first ride compared my old bike:

- The steering is not so nervous.
- The acceleration is much smoother.
- Bumps in the road seem to be filtered more. (I checked whether my tires were not leak during the 1st kilometers)

So far, VERY happy.

Wonder how it climbs compared to my old bike....
