That's right - matt paint, gloss panels.

I've only done about 50km on it so far because I've been ill - it needs a longer ride.
Eventually I'll write a ride report as well as a comparison to my Corretto...

Barely noticeable - they actually paint the matt lacquer coat as a final layer over the gloss.
how are you liking the madfibers are they the clinchers or tubulars. Do they have reasonable lateral stiffness. I am considering the clinchers for an evo build.

The MFs are ace wheels - I wrote a bit about them here: BikeTart.cc Mad Fiber Review
Mine are tubs, but I'd imagine the clinchers are just as good and ride similarly well.
I really like them but they definitely look better on my Corretto.

Have been meaning to drop into the Baum factory for years and finally got the chance about 10 days ago. As an engineer with some involvement in pressure vesssels/ welding/ fabrication etc I was really interested in how they were set up etc. Could not speak enough about the reception and overal friendliness and passion for bikes from the guys there. A great working fab shop well set out , and a separate in house paint shop... so cool. Would like to ride one, one day if my Ciocc ever bites the dust

You mean the Flite? Great saddle. Cheap and comfortable.
I've changed it, but only because I'm trying a white saddle to see how it looks!

White saddle will probably stick around now - it looks more interesting. The Ambrosios are on to stay for training use now too (for the foreseeable / until I get bored at least):
So, white, black or back to the dark silver bar tape?...

Fair enough, but although the Mad Fibers were originally intended for this bike they'll now be staying on my Corretto. With those gone the all black thing wasn't working so well.
