Well I got my Foil 10 frame in 54. I don't know how accurate this scale is but there is some internal plastic things going through the frame right now for the internal routing. I plan on taking apart my Addict which is on my other post throwing some spare 2011 Shimano 105 and Force Components with and SLR Seat on that. Plans for the Foil are the following but have a few questions on build.
Enve Bar (Lizard Skins DSP White Bar Tape
Enve Stem
New Ultimate Bottle Cages 1 White 1 Black(Have Questions on how these hold cages and if they break)
Ax Lightness Sprint Seat
Ritchey Aero Seat post that comes with frame
SRAM Red Yellow Group w/Standard Crank
Zipp 404's w/Veloplugs and Continental 4000's
Wondering what I should do for Cables? I was thinking Nokon Housing Black and White alternating but wondering how that would look and what lightweight cables work good with internal cable frame as I have never had one.

Nice!

What are the numbers on the scale, I can't quite make them out.

980g for the frame? That's a far cry from the 840g quoted by Scott. What else is on the frame? Bottle cage bolts I see, what about seat post collar, derailleur hanger, BB bearings?

980 is what she weighed with integrated seat collar, derailleur hanger, and bottle cage bolts. The frame weight also included pieces to feed your cables through. I'm going to throw it on my another scale before I throw it together to see if that scale was accurate. Bike radar weighed there 52 in at 890 with seat collar, hanger, and bolts so 980 may be what she weighs... I'm trying to figure out cables as I have never had an internal cabled bike so if anyone knows what would work great fill me in. I plan on ordering parts later today if possible so I can put her together next week.

If that's the case, the Cervelo S5 VWD might not actually be so far behind in weight... Still love the Foil though, wish I could find one on sale for Christmas :(

Lovely looking frame - good luck with the build.

Could you provide a seat tube measurement for me please - taken from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube / seat clamp ?

Many thanks

Andy

Yes, 980g does seem high when we've seen similar FOIL frames in similar sizes come significantly closer to the claimed weight.

You can't see in the photo, does 980g include the BB.

I lied that does include bottom bracket I've never had an integrated one before so I guess that brings me down some... Riding in Boise is awesome. Roads are great lots of hills decent weather to ride all year if your hard enough to handle the cold. I'll post pictures once I start getting her together ordered a few things for it today.

Makes sense then. So the weight claims of Scott remain, for the most part, accurate.
