I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is. I was running XX previously and that was great, but it doesn't even compare to XX1. XX1 makes XX feel like rubbish. Haven't had too many issues with gear ratio, I tend to run a 36t up front as I am a powerful rider and the courses I ride are not very hilly (500m Ascent over 40km). I do sometimes find I don't have a high enough gear for fireroads, but this doesn't bother me too much - so long as I pick my front chainring size its ok (I have a 32t & 34t spare).

In regards to the shifting - so crisp, and the new XX1 gripshifter is incredibly responsive with a 'light' feel!

I will never consider another groupset.

In the process of funding a Giant XTC Advanced SL 29'er Build Sub 8kg with XX1.
