Let me introduce myself-

My name is Sam and I am a long time lurker, just decided to create an account.
I am a full time bike addict, my skills include spending un-funny amounts of cash, needing new bikes, and time trialling.
Currently none of my bikes are particularly light, the lightest being a 653 TT lo-pro which weighs around 8kg, which is probably somewhat light for a time trial bike, especially steel, but who cares, its fast!
I am planning on building a 6kg roadie later this year, I need to get a sponsored lejog and back tour out of the way, and then I can start with the copious spending on plastic parts and various fibres, I also plan on it being a chinese carbon frame/wheels and completed it should be sub £2,000 (unless I accidently go over the top!)

Thanks for listening!
Sam

:welcome: Hi Sam and welcome to the forum. As a fellow lover of the tt and an old guy I love your old school tt bike. Looks like a lot of fun. What are your plans for the road bike?

Juan

That looks like a solid build. Excited to see how it turns out!
